We hold coloured belt (kup) gradings every 3 months and black belt  (poome / dan ) gradings every 6 months.

 The next coloured belt grading is Saturday 25th September 2010.

White belts and yellow belts 1.00 pm
Green tags and green belts 1.45 pm
Blue tags and blue belts 2.30 pm
Red tags and red belts 3.15 pm

 The next black belt grading is Saturday 16th Oct 2010.

In order to qualify for a grading, students will generally need to have attended a minimum amount of classes and a minimum waiting time. 

Minimum attendance requirements prior to a grading:

• White belts is not applicable.
• Yellow belts and above with at least 3 months waiting time is 17/18 lessons (70% of 2 classes per week)
• Black tags going for 1^st poome/dan with at least 6 months waiting time is approx 35 lessons (70% of 2 classes per week)
• Black belts going for 2^nd poome/dan with at least 2 years waiting time is approx 120 lessons (60% of 2 classes per week)
• Black belts going for 3rd poome/dan with at least 3 years waiting time is approx 150 lessons (50% of 2 classes per week)

• clean and smart uniform with club badge
• good behaviour and ettiquette
• appropriate ability for age and grade
